BUL-66 TRIP THROUGH SOUTHEAST EUROPE (independent trip)
Date of travel: Aug 4 – Aug 25, 1966
ITINERARY:
Trip by train from Prague (Czechoslovakia) via Budapest (Hungary) to Beograd (SERBIA, but that time Serbia was part of Yugoslavia). Here we stayed 2 days (from Aug 5 to Aug 7). Then again by train to BULGARIA with stay of 15 days (from Aug 8 to Aug 22) while visiting Sofia, Monastery Rila, Monastery Bachkov, Plovdiv, Trnovo, Monastery Gabrov, Sipka, Kazanlik, Stara Zagora and Black Sea coast. Then again by train to Bucharest (RUMANIA) for 1 day (Aug 23) and to Budapest (HUNGARIA) also for 1 day (Aug 24). On Aug 25 back to Czechoslovakia.
Travel office: no travel office used, we traveled mostly by train and slept in a tent
