M-01 A trip with the Czech travel office Fischer to island of Malta in Mediterranean Sea
Date of travel: Aug 7 – Aug 14, 2001
ITINERARY:
On Aug 8 early morning flight from Prague, Czech Republic on a Fischer Air plane via Djerba in Tunisia to the island of MALTA in Mediterranean Sea. Accommodation in a hotel in the town of Bugibba on the north shore. During the 7 days on the island I visited twice its capital Valletta and took three local trips with Czech and Slovak guides. During two of these trips we crisscrossed Malta seeing its megalithic monuments from some 3,500 years BC, visiting all the important towns and learned the fascinating history of the island from the Roman, Arab, Knights and British times. The last trip was to the island of Gozo getting there on a ferry and driving around this smaller island. On Aug 14 flight by Fischer Air directly back to Prague.
Travel office: Czech travel office Fischer
Who took part: All the time changing group of Czech and Slovak tourists. The optional trips led by Czech and Slovak guides.
