Cuba

ITINERARY:
In the morning on March 27, 2010 I am taking a charter plane from Prague, Czech Republic, to Havana, Cuba. After almost 11 hours of flying the plane lands in Havana in the afternoon. A travel company bus drives us 8 Czech tourists, a Czech guide and a Cuban employee of their travel office to our hotel in the city. Next day we are sightseeing Havana mostly on foot. Day after we have a day trip to the western part of the island. On March 30 we fly from Havana to the southeastern corner of the island to Santiago de Cuba. In the afternoon we explored the city including Castillo del Morro fort. Next morning we continue the sightseeing of Santiago and later on we go in our bus to Bayamo and then to Camaguey where overnight. The following morning the guide shows us the city. Later on we drive to mountainous Sierra Escambray and our hotel there. Next day we drive on a terrain vehicle through the mountains, while after lunch we have sightseeing of the historical town Trinidad. That is followed by drive to the town Cienfuegos for night. In the morning we explore this town. At noon we make a stop at the beach Playa Giron at the warm Caribbean Sea. Some of us are swimming there. After that a short stop at Bay of Pigs. Then we visit a tourist complex Guama in La Boca. For the last several days in Cuba we are at the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico in Varadero. This is Cuban most famous vacation place. We come there in the evening on April 3 and leave in the afternoon on April 7. After a 10 hour flight we are back in Prague in the morning April 8.
