Vie-01 - A 3 day stop in Vienna on my flight from Prague to San Diego Date of travel: Aug 27 - Aug 30, 2001 ITINERARY: On Aug 27 afternoon flight from Prague, Czech Republic to Vienna, AUSTRIA. On Aug 28 a whole day sightseeing of the city mostly its historical center with the Hofburg and the Kaisergruft (the Habsburg Tomb) and in the evening Prater (the entertainment center). On Aug 29 the sightseeing of the Schonbrunn Palace with its gardens in the morning hours and the Schatzkammer and the Natural History Museum and other places in the rest of the day. On Aug 30 I left Vienna on the plane for Washington, DC and San Diego and in a rented car drove home to Vista. Travel office: I changed my plane schedule to fly to Vienna 3 day earlier and arranged a hotel there. Who took part: I traveled alone.
